Sadly, here in the United States, our election has become a time of heightened stress for so many people. It makes me sad, especially when I consider how many Americans have lost their lives over the years fighting for our freedoms. In so many quarters, we focus on exaggerating the ways in which we disagree rather than on our shared values and humanity.
So, today, I invite you to take the time to stop and notice the many wonders which surround us—for example, the beauty of the stars and the wonder of that every-so-often treat, a meteor shower! Let’s take time to enjoy the simple things, all of which add up to the lightness and brightness of being.
